Problems
All levels of governments in Colorado are not able to solve mobility problems in critical travel corridors around the state due to a lack of a sustainable funding source for building and operating rail projects.
Solution
STE Business Model (Sustainable Synergy) merges Innovation, Governance, Environment, Economic Development, and Financing.
Innovation – STE is using 21st Century technology which uses hydrogen-powered rail vehicles; a new railbed design that lower construction cost and maintenance; and the sale of renewable energy to finance our rail projects.
Governance – STE, in cooperation with local governments, is creating an organization that will be responsible for the securing the financing for the renewable energy and rail projects as well as the annual operating expenses.
Environment – STE’s rail vehicle and Community Opportunity Station are going to be pollution-free.
Economic Development – STE’s Community Opportunity Stations are going to have a portion of the housing units dedicated to low-income, affordable and senior residents and will include health clinics, child and senior day care, community meeting centers, and remote learning centers,
Financing – Through the sale of renewable energy, STE has developed a sustainable revenue stream to cover the annual operating expenses of each of our rail projects which is allows each rail line to function independently of other rail projects. Our approach does not rely upon any limited government resources.
STE has identified rail projects for the Eastern Plains, West Slope and the Front Range. These projects are presented in other parts of this website.
